WHAT IS SOMETHING YOUR PARENTS DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU? That the stain on their white sofa was from where I spilled beer on it when I was twelve.
IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE A REALITY SHOW TO BE ON, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE? Amazing Race. I can swim, I'm not afraid of heights, and I know how to read a map. I think I'd do alright, so long as my partner wasn't a total twat.
WHAT WOULD YOUR LAST MEAL BE? The prime rib my mum makes every year for Christmas. An embarrassingly large slab of it. With scalloped potatoes, green beans and salad with goat cheese and strawberries. Cherry pie for dessert.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SNACK FOODS? I was going to say that I don't snack terribly often, but that's a downright lie. My favourite is likely pulling handfuls of cereal out of the bag and eating it dry like that. Froot Loops are the best for this.
WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL SATURDAY NIGHT LOOK LIKE? Recently I've been pulling weekend shifts so that some of the younger guys can go out and have a bit of a life. Those partying days are all but behind me by now, and I want them to be able to have nights where they're not worried about rushing into burning buildings. So Saturdays find me either hanging out at the station, or out on calls.
WHAT ARE SOME ISSUES YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT? Equal rights for everyone. For Christ's sake, it's 2019, why are some people still acting like they haven't learned any lessons from preschool? Why can people not be kind to each other, regardless of what they look like or where they come from or who they love? That and fire safety. Stop falling asleep with candles burning, for the love of god!
WHAT ARE YOUR LONG TERM GOALS? To find someone to share my life with, as hectic as it may be. A mate, little ones, the whole domestic bliss shebang.
